RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OPERATIONAL PRACTISES AND PERFORMANCE AMONG EARLY ADOPTERS OF GREEN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT PRACTISES IN CHINESE MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES.

The research framework is develop to investigate the relationship between four GSCM practices (Independent Variable)  that Chinese enterprise may implement to improve their performance. In this general framework, four Organizational Performance ( Dependent Variable) factors have a positive, direct relationship with enterprise performance improvements. The QM and JIT manufacturing influences the relationships between GSCM practice and performance. GSCM practices are  generally beneficial for environmental performance and some aspects of economic performance.

Enterprises having higher levels of adoption of GSCM practices have better positive economic performance improvements.

Enterprises having higher levels of GSCM practise have (worse) negative economic performance improvements.

Increasingly, multinational enterprises have established global networks of suppliers . These linkages and growth in globalization provide opportunities for Chinese manufacturers to export products. However, exporting products also requires Chinese enterprises to address and overcome ‘green barriers’ and increase their international competitive ability
